About Davon Miller
Davon Miller is an author and illustrator, who published his first book at the age of eleven. Starting as a child drawing with crayons, Davon has spent over a decade writing and illustrating children’s books, further allowing his art to inspire children to craft their own stories. As an infant, Davon was diagnosed with severe asthma, which forced him at times to be in and out of All Children's Hospital. Davon has donated some proceeds from his book signings to John Hopkins All Children's Hospital in support of Asthma. Davon holds a B.A. in English for Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida.
In 2020, he launched #IMAGINE2020CHILDRENSTORIES, a campaign to help indie African American authors during the rise of #BlackLivesMatter. He currently hosts a radio segment on Joy on Paper.

Davon is a recipient of the Citizenship Award in the Tampa Bay’s Mayor’s Youth Showcase of Achievement (2019) and in 2021 became a Sunshine Ambassador for St. Petersburg, Florida for his philanthropic efforts that support literacy. Davon's works been highlighted and included in the Tampa Bay Rays reading program “Reading with the Rays.”.
