Frequetly Asked Questions

Are you the first person ever to publish a book at age 11?

Sadly no. I believe there are other kids who published there book at a younger age. Maybe in my hometown of

St. Petersburg I'm the youngest person to do do.

How many books are you going to do for Mr.Tickety-Toc Clock?

I'm planning on doing as many as I can come up with. I've already started on drafts for future books I want to do.

                 How did you start writing?

It all started at a very young age. I started writing about the age of 7. Writing came to me when I started watching  my

favorite shows like Barney & Friends and The Wiggles. I became in love with the shows so much that i started creating my

own adventures for them. After creating adventures for my favorite shows, I thought to myself, I should create my own

original  adventures. Since then, I've been writing and creating my OWN ORIGINAL adventures.

Did you always want to be a writer?

At the age of 4, i acctually didnt know what i wanted to do in the future. So since my mom was a teacher (and still is),                               I said to myself that i want to become a teacher too! But then i realized that you had to memorize every subject so i decied                     to drop that option.

Was Mr.Tickety-Toc Clock your first book that you made?

Mr.Tickety-Toc Clock: Goodnight Mr. Clock is the first ever book i published. But i've made a book before                                          Mr.Tickety-Toc Clock. In 3rd grade, I made my very own graphic novel entitled The Holiday Team. The Holiday Team                              is about a little boy who loved to invent things. His town was so boring that nothing was there. The little boy suddenly                            invented Holidays (which later in the story they became superheros). I planned on writing about 30 books in that series                          but I only got up to the fourth book (so far).

How long does it take you to write a book?

It takes me about 1-4 months to create a new story/finish the draft of it. 2-6 months for the final book,

and about 5 months to edit.

Where do you get your ideas?

Let me just say that I have a very active imagination in my mind. Most of my ideas come from things that happend

at school, cartoons, movies, or I might combine the cartoon life with the real world.

What books do you like to read?

I love fiction books. Books I really like to read include:

The Land of Stories By: Chris Colfer

Diary of A Wimpy Kid By: Jeff Kinney

                    Captain Underpants By: Dav Pilkey

What do you do when your not writing?

When I'm not writing I love to read. When not reading I love spending time with my family. I love listening to

music. I definetly love watching movies (animated) like Madagascar, Shrek,

Ice Age, Guardians of The Galaxy, Frozen, and lots more! And when I'm not doing those things I might play

Toontown Rewritten (which is an online game).

Will you continue to write more books in the future?

Definetly! I will definitely be writing more books in the future! Expect more Mr.Tickety-Toc Clock books and

                      new books too.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

My advice for future authors is to never give up on your dream. It seems like a difficult task along the way, but

soon, all that hard work will pay off. My next advice is that you should try to come up with an original idea of

a story. When writing a story, don't forget about your audience but don't try and think too much... rememer, your

making the story as you go. When your trying to come up with  a good story, take a notebook with you wherever

                       you go too.
